So today I went berry-picking, at the U-Pick farms on Sauvie Island. Thrilling and all, I'm sure, to you. But I had a good time, all by myself, wandering the rows of almost-exhausted raspberries, the squat blueberry bushes (although there was one other woman in that area), and listening to a mother whine at her child to stop whining among the marionberries. My mouth is salivating just thinking of all the berries I picked. Now there is cobbler in the oven because what else are you going to do with that many berries? And I still have about 4 containers worth left. This is a part of why I moved to Oregon.
In other news, I'm now an adult, having paid for my own internet, electricity, rent, title and registration, car insurance, furniture, flea treatment, and pet food. I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting. The two that really made me feel adult were the title and registration and the car insurance. Everything else I've done before. However, now I am nearly broke and would really! like! a job! So please, Buck lab, decide that I'm the best possible candidate and hire me. Also, Chia lab, please write me back and ask me for an interview. Thank you.
The cobbler smells good.
